What is SAPA

SAPA stands for the South African Principals’ Association. The term Principal refers to both Deputy Principals and Principals.

The South African Principals' Association welcomes Principals' into a professional group where current issues facing teachers are discussed. It also provides principals with invaluable support material, collegial interaction and workshop opportunities. We encourage all South African Principals to join the Association.

The South African Principals’ Association is in turn, affiliated to the International Confederation of Principals. The ICP has established links with principal associations in many countries and hosts a biennial international conference of principals.
